The coverage in the mainstream media sources of the email messages that have been copied (leaked? hacked?) from the database of the Hadley Climate Research Unit is minimal and cautious at the moment while the internet is alight with discussion.

The timing of the release and the motive of the person who made them available are still being questioned by some while others trawl through the content trying to make sense of it all.
