I have mentioned elsewhere that a college mate of mine was 'an item' with an older lady.
They had been sleeping together since he was 15 years of age and she was his English teacher ( maybe, perhaps History ) at his school. None of us, at the time, late 1970s, thought of this as "immoral", nor indeed as any of our business.
Their happy relationship lasted beyond college and in due course they were happily married. I, as did our mutual friends and families of both parties, attended. It did not last forever but how many marriages do these days ?
Today he would be expected to attend no end of Victimhood Councelling while She would be villified in the popular press and end up in gaol.
