more e-petition fun

Trawling through the less well supported e-petitions is an unending source of merriment. Take for example this one

We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to Change planning laws to redefine pylons as wind turbine.
Once planning law has been changed to make wind turbines the same as pylons, Pylons already in situ can then be replaced with wind turbines. With out having to through lengthy consultations
signed only by the original petitioner, Mr Darcy Pace. Mr Pace has obviously not thought through the technical processes that are required to transfer electricity from the point of production to the end user. This usually requires suspended wires that are carried on pylons. If you replace all of the pylons with wind turbines .. .. .. ..

"Mr Pace has obviously not thought through the technical processes that are ", on the contrary, I expect that Mr Pace imagines that the cables can be hung off the pylon/turbines and that the electricity generated ( allegedly ) can be poked directly into those same cables.

Still, at least I suppose it gave those poor benighted souls who have to work for the Prime Mentalist a small chuckle to lighten their otherwise dreary existence...
