BBCDarren Pease, 33, from Dagenham, took more than £300,000 from a fund set up for five-year-old Ellie May Challis. Ellie May, from Little Clacton, Essex, lost her arms and legs to meningitis four years ago.
Pease was jailed for four years after pleading guilty to fraud and deception at Basildon Crown Court. The court heard that Pease had been a trustee of the fund.

He gets four years (I'd have given him 20) yet other people steal much, much more and walk free.
