Drinkers in Mansfield are facing random drug tests before being allowed into the town's pubs and clubs.I don't live near Mansfield but I am never going there for a drink. Be swabbed by the police or be searched by the police before being allowed into a pub? Fuck off.
Nottinghamshire police will take swabs to test for a range of drugs, including cocaine and cannabis, as part of the initiative.
People who refuse the tests will be searched.

I saw a vid of this, the swabs talke place within the nightclub itself and are presumably part of the entry requirements.
