Telegraph reports that Britney Spears is the most internet searched person of the decade.
Osama bin Laden takes second place, with a spate of online searches following the September 11 terror attacks, followed by David Beckham. Princess Diana is fourth, followed by Tony Blair, Madonna, Simon Cowell, Jade Goody, Madeleine McCann and Brad Pitt.

The findings are based on online activity by British users of the search engine Ask Jeeves.
The list is created from the searches by one nation in one search engine. I wonder how different the results would be with an international sample from a number of search engines?
