A council wants to place Asbos on chauffeurs who wait near Arsenal's stadium while matches are on. Up to 40 luxury cars drop customers at Emirates Stadium in Holloway, north London, then wait to collect them with their engines running, residents say. Islington Council is examining whether Anti-social Behaviour Orders can be applied to the luxury car firms.I'm no expert but as far as I'm aware sitting in your car with the engine running is not an offence yet. What would happen if one of the drivers was caught at traffic lights or stuck in a jam on the M25? Would they go to jail for breaching their ASBO?
