US officials were quick to dismiss rumours of any connection between an increased threat of terrorist activity in Yemen and the repatriation of Guantanamo Bay prisoners to that country. "Or alternatively we just released a bunch of criminally insane terrorists into a country that will allow them to launch multiple terror attacks against the USA.
