They're not even trying any more, are they?
He is operating "Scorched earth policy" JUST as his friends and mentors, Stalin and Hitler did.
He thinks he knows he is going to loose the next election, so, like a kid in the nursery at home time, if HE can not play with his toys (the party, the country, YOU), then no other bastard will get to play with them, so he smashes them all before putting his coat on to go home.
I totally agree FT.
There is so much being done now that will either fuck things up for the next government, or that is being done so that when the next government undoes it the opposition can point and call names (the legal commitment to a referendum on AV springs to mind).
I just hope (fingers crossed etc etc) that CallMeDave has a plan to get rid of as much as possible of Crash Gordon's litter in the first few weeks of the Parliament. While the deep thinking over the emergency budget is underway inside the Treasury there should be a kind of scorched-earth-in-reverse process going on in the HoC while the new MPs are all bright eyed and bushy tailed. Start at the top of the long list of this kind of rubbish and hold vote after vote getting rid of them all. There wil be plenty of noise from the Loony Left, but they wont be credible as they will have just lost the election. The sooner it's done the sooner it's over so we can move on and deal with the real problems.
