watersports

Over the last few years, partly influenced by the pathetic exchange rates for foreign currency, the number of watersports enthusiasts that holiday in Devon has dramatically increased. The council has already appointed a specialist watersports officer but now wants to go one stage further by providing watersports buses.

While the local economy is estimated to benefit by somewhere near £80 million per year from the enthusiasts there are very few facilities in the county that are tailored for their use. Provision of secure storage is patchy at best and until now there has been no dedicated public transport. The council are hoping that even more tourists will flood into the county this summer once the new vehicles come on stream.

"The introduction of the watersports bus" said Penelope Waterfall, a leading campaigner behind the proposals, "will allow holidaying urolagniasts to bring their own equipment while reducing the impact on the local environment. Local specialists Omorashi have been commissioned to construct the fleet which will give a huge benefit to the county's economy."

"I'm so excited about this" Penelope gushed "that I think I've just wet my knickers."

I, (honestly), once rejoiced in the job title "Watersports Instructor".

The pay took the piss though.
