This could cause a revolution if they start showing up in all the outdoor seating areas. Best to do it now before they ban it outdoors too, seize claim to the territory before the anti's do - and they will try for that next if not headed off at the pass. These signs might do the trick.
CH - They are self adhesive vinyl stickers with an easy peel backing. The front sheet is there to allow you to smooth the sticker down and then it also peels off. The sticker itself is only as thick as paper.
I'm hoping they're weatherproof and that the adhesive is permanent .. .. .. I have a few ideas for some seemingly random places to stick some.
If you talk to your local print shop I'm sure they will be able to guide you to a solution that works for you. There's no reason I can think of why the image couldn't be printed onto a thicker sign of the type that are attached with screws.
Postcard size/Glossy photo card 160gsm of the "Smoking" poster can be printed for: 10 cards for 5 x 2nd class stamps. Stamps will be used to send posters to pubs in the East Manchester area. A4 3 for 5x2nd class stamps Suggestions please on supply of addresses to maintain privacy I can contact Dick Puddlecote, Leg Iron,Pat Nurse and certain others by PM mail using the Freedom2Choose Forum
FreeGoths - You are more than welcome to use the image, distribute it, reproduce it, in any way. Hell, if you can persuade a cricket team to have it cut into their pitch that would be brilliant too!!
I've thrown it up in a few places on the net and emailed some people who don't normally read the blogs who have all shown interest in it.
But I'm not orchestrating a campaign - that has to come from individuals who feel strongly about the issue - I will however LMAO if it makes the local or national news ;o)
Glad you approve of the sign and thanks for the link. The 300dpi image is still hosted on google docs so feel free to appropriate it if you want to create stickers to spread around the place. Not that I'd condone that kind of behaviour of course ;o)

Beautiful!
Printed my own. They came out well with the Hi-Res and the firms laser toner :-)
I've run out - loads of people at the pub took several.
Great news indeed Uncle Marvo!
I'm about to drop a few into the post for someone and I'm already thinking about getting the next batch printed.. .. ..

Where can I obtain some of these excellent & much needed signs .. and at what cost please ?????
Captain Haddock - I paid £80 for the 100 A6 stickers I had printed from this 300dpi image. Feel free to download and use it.
Very many thanks for that MW ..
Purely out of interest, what are they made of please ? ..
For example are they weatherproof & self-adhesive ?
Thanks again ...

Teeny little problem with poster.
All that blue background takes a lot of ink, would you mind if I
edit to "blue on white"
NorthGoth
Print it on blue paper. Simples.
Then print only the white bits.
Er, hold on ...
NorthGoth - Have you got photoshop? I'll email you the .psd file for you to edit entirely as you wish. Drop me a line to that address ----->
If the background is white then you'd lose the white circle around the fag though?
Duly nabbed.
It'll go well with those campaign posters.
My printer has separate ink cartridges for colours. I'll get some extra blue ones.
You are of course most welcome Leg-iron (and thanks for the plug over on your blog).
Discovered you today with a link from Underdogs bite upwards
I am including your sign on my blog Styx; I shall refer to you and add a link as well.
Best of luck
