I solemnly promise.. .. ..

If Nick Clegg accepts a coalition with the Labour Party and Gordon Brown remains the Prime Minister I solemnly promise that I will vote Conservative at the next general election.

I will, naturally, provide proof.

The situation is desperately complex at the moment.

AFAIK on a local level the LD and Con activists absolutely hate each other and would not countenance a coalition.

If Cleggy takes a coalition with either party it kind of makes a mockery of his claim to be "a new politics".

If the LD prop up Gordon in a minority govt they will get slaughtered at the inevitable early election. People like me will be very very angry at that outcome and the only viable solution is to vote for a Tory landslide, something that I see as the lesser of two evils.
