local elections

On May 6th I've got to cast two votes - one for the general election and one for the local election. I know who all of the candidates are for the general election as I've had lots of shiny flyers through my door but not a single one for the local election. I don't even know the names of the candidates.

So I'm prepared to offer my vote to the first party that delivers a flyer for the local council elections to my house. This is an open invitation to any of the candidates from any party. I will publish photographic proof of my vote on this blog on May 6th to confirm that I have actually voted for you. All you need to do is put a flyer through my letterbox so that I know who to vote for.

If none of you bother to introduce yourselves before Thursday then I will be forced to register my complaint on my ballot slip. And it will be neither pleasant nor attractive.

Never let it be said that I haven't provided you the opportunity to engage with me, a voter in your constituency, who you hope to represent.
