For example the Tories and the Lib Dems are not being completely honest about the scale of the cuts and / or tax rises that will happen after the election because they, like Labour, think that it will scare us into not voting for them. Like a price fixing cartel all three are playing a game of 'create a dividing line between the other parties but not too far in case we seem like extremists' and it's just bollocks.
The buzzwords 'new politics', 'change', 'fair' are overused and practically meaningless. The new politics is the old politics with a shiny wrapper, the only change political parties want is the change in the balance of power in Westminster, fair for you is unfair on the person over there. "Life isn't fair, deal with it" as my leukaemia ridden uncle used to say shortly before he died.

The truth might be complicated, painful, difficult, uncaring, messy, awkward, unpalatable, worrying, contradictory, frustrating, but don't we deserve to know it anyway so we can decide for ourselves?

If being honest gained votes, somebody would have tried it by now.
Ditto the above comment....
Plus I'm fed up to the back teeth of the Election anyway!
I can't wait for Thursday night, maybe all the nonsense will stop after that. But, somehow, I doubt it.
