shock, horror

BBC News has been outraged all morning about a kite surfer who jumped over Palace Pier in Brighton on Thursday. They've been emphasising the danger, how lives could be lost and that the owners of the pier had not given permission for the stunt.

Which is a little bit different to how they covered the story when the same people performed the same stunt almost exactly a year ago.

*chuckles*

That like an awesome cherry on top of an awesome cake! Give those men a knighthood or something.

I was working in Brighton on Thursday and saw that guy out on the waves. I didn't see him jump the pier but full of respect for his skill. The sea was being whipped by incredible gusting winds and it was an amazing sight, seeing a lone guy out there on the boiling sea.

(Third time lucky; damn spelling mistakes.)

Hi TCO!

I'm impressed by the size of his balls .. .. must be tricky to find a wetsuit with cojones so large. I too am full of respect for him having the ability and courage to jump over Palace Pier.
