In seven days time, on Tuesday 4th Jan 2011, both VAT and fuel duty charged on petrol and diesel increase. Buy yours now while you can still afford it.

BUT the high price is due to the greedy oil companies (not).
And the banks will probably be reluctant to offer a mortgage on a tankful either.
[Strange that, because with the predictions of house-price deflation, that tankful will be worth relatively more in 2012 than the usual bricks-and-mortar.]
