segregate the gayers

Brighton, which hosts an annual Pride celebration, has always had a general atmosphere of tolerance and integration. Yes, there have been isolated incidents of intolerance (whichever -phobia or -ism has been invoked) but generally speaking it's an easygoing place. Fortunately many of those leaving comments in this Argus piece understand this and are against the idea of separate, segregated "gay village" area of the city.
